Spent the morning visiting the suburb city of Thimi, about 3 km from Bhaktapur. Tried to find the famous potter’s square but to no avail. Did find a few interesting temples and got to see what a real, non-touristy Nepal looks like. Headed back into town for the afternoon and did some souvenir shopping. Had a lovely early dinner (except for the rats running past our table) overlooking Durbar Square then headed back to our hotel to grab our luggage. Taxied to the airport for our 11pm flight to Hong Kong. After almost a full day waiting in the lounge at HK finally boarded a plane for YVR, arriving home on April 7th.
