Upon returning from our fall, 2019 trip our country count stands at 109 UN countries visited. While we enjoy keeping score, we travel primarily to see the sights and meet the people. We almost always spend at least 2 or 3 days in every new country that we visit.

A trip to Colombia, the Canal, and Costa Rica. In the Houston airport now and we’ll be in Bogota tonight.
Still bad in Nicaragua (Canadian government says to “avoid non-essential travel”) so we’re off to Mexico instead! Look for our report from a sunny beach soon.
The featured image is a view of the deserted streets of San Juan Del Sur, usually overrun by tourists. Although our “Turtle Tour” in 2018 was cancelled, we have no doubt that we’ll get back to Nicaragua some day. A
