On our recent January/February trip to South and Central America temperatures were in the 20’s and 30’s every day and we only saw rain 3 times in 34 days. We cleverly thought that we’d escaped all the snow shoveling back in Canada. (Yes, even Vancouver sometimes gets snow!) A few days ago our daffodils were in bloom and we thought that we were home free. Sadly, as the picture shows, Mother Nature had other plans and a surprise March snowstorm meant that we didn’t entirely escape winter this year.
