A camel looks like something put together by a committee.

As we as we said in our “Will You Ride a Camel?” post before we departed on this trip, we were unsure about another camel ride. However, the lure of riding a camel in the Sahara proved too great, and the saddles looked positively cushy compared to the solid wooden blocks used in Jordan! (Pics can be found at https://100countries.info/2015/11/01/welcome-to-jordan/)
It was a short ride and our camels were led rather than trusting us to steer the ornery beasts ourselves. However, a very nice ride through the Sahara sands, although not quite comfortable enough to lull us to sleep as our guide claimed it would be!
Delicious mint tea afterwards topped off the afternoon.
A very short video from our YouTube channel is below, and pictures are further down.
