Kandy to Ella

Fate conspired against us. We were trying to take the train all the way from Kandy to Ella but it broke down near Colombo. Fortunately we had another option. Our driver drove us part of the way to Nuwara Eliya where we caught the train when it arrived 3 hours late. That allowed us to stop at the Oak Ray Tea Bush factory and museum for a tour; view Ramboda Falls; and to stop for tea and see the post office and Victoria Park in Nuwara Eliya. Train ride was amazing through tea plantations with fabulous mountain vistas. Arrived in Ella just before sunset.
