Arrived in Kochkor this afternoon and back in a wifi zone. Toured a salt mine/sanatorium where patients go to cure their asthma???!! Spent the past 2 days driving along Lake Issyk-Kul then up into the mountains. Amazing scenery. Met a man who hunts with eagles; went horse back riding in the jailoo, and spent our nights sleeping in yurts. Very basic, kind of like camping only smellier. Food is good and plentiful but a tad greasy. Heading back to Bishkek in the morning then flying to Kazakhstan and on to Tajikistan.
