On our “Barcelona to Berlin” trip we visited the 17th smallest country in the world, Andorra. That was our first visit, so we have updated our “Countries Visited” counter on the website to 121. We also visited the second smallest country in the world, Monaco, and since that was a return trip we updated our “Second 100” list. We made a repeat visit to Spain too, after a very lengthy interval.
Our exchange with our walking tour guide in Barcelona:
Guide: “has anyone here been to Barcelona before?”
Us: “Yes”.
Guide: “So you guys just keep coming back?”
Us: “Sure, every 44 years!”
