Haft-Kul to Khojand, Tajikistan

Long 9 1/2 hour drive from Haft-Kul to Khojand today. Much too hot and uncomfortable. Short stop for lunch then another to tour Istaravshan. Plenty of mosques with gorgeous carvings and a shell of a fortress that Alexander the Great attacked.
