In the spring of 2017, we returned to Australia to visit family. We bracketed this trip with visits to Japan (a first for both of us) and the Philippines (a first for just one of us, bringing our “countries visited” count equal again). Although we were in an arrivals lounge in Hong Kong, and in transit hotels in both Kuala Lumpur and Singapore airports (on air side), we’re not really counting any of those places as “visited” on this trip!
