OK, realistically, our travel planning process is a bit more complicated than chucking darts at a map, although sometimes our selections are pretty random!
We have a long, long list of places that we’d like to visit (or visit again) “someday”. Some of those places have progressed beyond the daydreaming stage and made it to the trip planning level but just haven’t happened yet, or were going to happen but were cancelled or postponed.
