In the fall of 2026 we will visit Australia again to see family and friends. Although it will be spring in Australia, we still hope to celebrate Thanksgiving with the Canadian Club of Western Australia when we are there. And it should be beach weather before we have to leave and return home to a rainy Vancouver winter.
There will be no stopovers either on the way there nor the way back since we were able to score an airfare with Cathay Pacific that will take us all the way from Vancouver to Perth with just one connection in Hong Kong. You know that that those two cities are a long, long way apart when we are all excited that the flying time (including the connection) is “only” 25 hours, rather than the 30 to 40 hours it takes when we have two or more stops en route!
