Our Turtle Tour was cancelled, or at least postponed/relocated!
We had planned a November, 2018 visit to Costa Rica’s Guanacaste province for volcanoes, cloud forest and beaches, and then popping across the border to San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua to try to spot sea turtles laying their eggs. However the sad events in Nicaragua (see our post below) forced a change of plans. We went to Mexico in the fall of 2018 instead. We did get to Costa Rica in 2019, but not to Guanacaste nor back to Nicaragua, so the “Turtle Tour” remains on the bucket list.
